Mingo's Burritos

Mingo’s was a delight for our road trip through Texas! It is definitely worth the short detour off the interstate! Their burritos are simple and delicious and affordable and the staff was very kind.

This place is a fantastic hole in the wall burrito/taco joint. The hot case was full of both breakfast and lunch burritos you could order. The tortillas were homemade and huge. I did opt for homemade beans as well as meat on my burrito. One burrito was the perfect size to fill me up. The salsa was on point. They only had one type of salsa. I would have liked to have options like a green salsa or orange.

The taco meat was flavorful. The beans were perfect. I did opt for cheese on my burrito. The cheese was real cheese and not American Cheese like some tacos places tend to put on their tacos. The staff was very accommodating and amazing.

This place is definitely worth a stop if you are hungry for tacos.

Grabbed breakfast on the way thru Ft Stockton. Choices were many and the food was fresh. We were more than pleased at the size of the burrito for the prices charged. Ladies behind the counter were really sweet. Jalapeños were kicking today but good taste great.

Ordered a few burritos. Like a few of the other reviews already stated, it's not the size of a burrito, it's a taco.

Customer service, we were greated with a good morning. Yes the lady that served us was "a little tense" but I didn't take it personal. It was busy! The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building including customers in the dining room and in line at the register. There were only 3 workers up front so they were just trying to get everyone in and out.

We weren't able to get our "burritos" filled exactly as we requested but no big deal. We just ate from the choices the lady gave us.
We arrived 4 hours after open so our eggs were hard from sitting but everything tasted good.
