Staff was nice. Food is always great. Dessert menu is something to try. My date had a steak which he loved. I would drive out of the way for this restaurant.

Everything was great except they need to step their gumbo game up. I expect gumbo to be well seasoned and spicy and it wasn't either

The food was amazing! Service was great also. The portions on the appetizers were enough for four people. Usually we order and you get just enough for 2 at other places. We will definitely make the hour drive to eat here again.

Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was good, and as described. Booths and tables available. We were there in a Sunday....it was busy, but we were seated immediately.

Only odd thing to me is the raw oysters are said to be served shucked...as in, no shell. I've ordered many raw oysters and it is customary to deliver the shucked raw oyster on the half-shell. When I read "no shell" it made me wonder about freshness and if the restaurant received the oysters already shucked. Because of this impression, I didn't order them. Probably could have asked more specific questions to find out, though.
