If you're passing through Amarillo, this is a great place to stop and eat!
Our party of 8 ordered just about everything on the menu, and everything was a 10/10. One of the best BBQ places we have eaten. Plus, don't leave without trying the delish banana or chocolate pudding!!
Typical texas tourist trap bbq joint. Overpriced and not good enough for what they charge. There is cheaper and better in Amarillo. Most places that serve bbq have both.
I dont want to say anything bad about Texas, but I think my bbq ribs are better.Ribs are good. Nice smoke ring and rub. Bbq sauce is just ok. Coleslaw was dry. I need to try out some different Texas rib restaurants.
We drove hundreds of miles this day and we're looking forward to being in Texas again and having Rudy's. It was good this Rudy's was having an off day. It wasn't crowed and the service was slow. The folks at Rudy's are usually infectiously enthusiasic, not so here.
The food was good, but not as good as what I've come to expect. Our brisket was room temperature and somehow lean was smokier than the most.
Had the spicy chop sandwich with potato slade and it was great! I had several separate to go orders, which is usually annoying to cashiers, but the guy that helped out was helpful with it making sure everyone's food stayed separate and nothing was missing. Why haven't we come here for lunch more often?! We will now!
