Stars Drive-in

First time in Texas, my boyfriend grew up eating Stars. The food is great and the ice cream is to die for. The munchers were amazing.

Jr. Cheeseburger and Munchers with Ranch dressing. No drink. A little less than $10. Really delicious.

I have been looking for a good place to eat since I got to Amarillo back in March and this place is definitely it.

I ordered an ultimate burger meal minus the tomatoes and jalapeños. Onion rings were pretty good, definitely better than the regular fast food chain type. The strawberry shake I ordered was really good too. Chunks of strawberry and very good flavor.

And on to the burger.. it came out almost too hot to hold, which I like. First bite I got a mouthful of jalapeños. Due to medical issues I can't do spicy. So after dousing the fire in my mouth with the milkshake, they fixed the problem very quickly and even gave me a refund for the difference. I had neither asked for or expected that.

Overall I'm very happy with my experience at stars and will most definitely be back.
