Green Chile Willy's

I've only ever ordered take out. Green chili cheese fries are good but potatoes have been closer to the raw side than the fried side whenever I've got them. I ordered steak tips and it was over $18 for one order. The meat was cut in huge chunks. I ordered medium well and got medium rare. The meat is so tough I couldn't even chew it up. And I'm not exaggerating. I'm not that picky. But this was by far the most disappointing meal I've had in a long long time. Especially for the price. Only positive thing I have to say about the meal was at least they gave me a lot of food even if it was almost impossible to eat. Maybe I'm just unlucky because there's a lot of good reviews. It just seems like they're in such a rush to get the food out that they're not paying attention to whether or not they're cooking it right. And cutting sirloin tips and smaller bites seems to be common sense. Seems like they would put more pride into what they serve if they're going to charge so much. Sorry for the negative review but it's just extremely disappointing to get a meal like that.

Great little gem that is semi hidden. I NEVER even noticed ther place until a friend took me there. If you like good comfort food then this place is somewhere you should try. I have Maggie's chicken fried steak and it was delicious. You can either make chicken fried steak or you can't, these guys can. Loved their gravy as well.

Green Chile Willys is a great place for a casual night out. The waitress was amazing and our food came out nice and hot. I loved that the atmosphere of the restaurant allowed for conversation without shouting. The jalapeno jack chicken fried chicken was excellent, but the fried pecan pie was the deal sealer. We'll definitely be back!

Service was friendly, and speedy. Our dinner was delicious! ..but it's always good whenever you order their jalapeño jack chicken fried chicken!! The burger was also delicious! We need to make more frequent stops here. Can't wait to come back.
