Sa•vor Tapas Bar

Great paella! Our server at the bar was friendly, the ambiance was perfect and it’s the decorations and lights. We were given a sample tapa at the bar which was absolutely delicious. The menu had a huge selection for any palette with both cold and hot tapas. We’ll definitely be back!

Fairly new to the area, and what an incredible spot. This fine dining, upscale tapas bar is all that and then some. Grab your friends, call yourself a babysitter and get yourself a date night here. From the outside you would not believe how breathtakingly beautiful the interior is… I was absolutely wowed when we first stepped foot inside this one of a kind spot.
You can feel it in your soul that the owners have done everything they possibly could to provide you with a unique and cultural experience that is not offered anywhere else.
We enjoyed the Tuna Poke, Escargot, Mushroom & Pesto Flatbread & Steak.
I highly recommend this spot for those who appreciate the finer things of life, willingness to try something different and love a vibrantly creative menu.
**side note: this being a fine dining spot I recommend only well behaved children.

DELICIOUS! We were able to walk in and get a table at around 5:30 pm on a Saturday night. (although we were told the table was reserved at 7 so we’d have to finish by then) Our server was honest, helpful and kind without being snooty and the atmosphere was top-notch (I commented to my husband that it had a similar vibe to drunken oyster and wondered if they used the same interior decorator-I just found out they’re owned by the same person!) Having been to Spain and experienced the whole tapas thing, this was quite refreshing for Amarillo. Savor definitely offers what high-end tapas restaurants in Barcelona offer. Lol, I appreciate the fact that they had several vegetarian and fish dishes, as I do not eat pigs, cows or birds. Everything was delicious and I especially loved the fried pickled cauliflower in one of the seafood plates. I had the red sangria and my husband had a local beer. Some of the specialty drinks on the menu were quite pricey (20$), but the food and entrées felt appropriately priced. We spent $75 before the tip on three drinks and six or seven tapas. I was only a little sad not to see sardines on the menu at all. But alas, fresh white sardines are probably not very accessible living in the middle of Texas! We will definitely be back with our foodie friends to spend hours drinking and eating together! Don’t miss this new spot in town!
