Spicy Mike's Bar-B-Q Haven

Very good barbeque to say the least. The brisket is tender, full of bark and extremely moist - cut it with a fork. Potato salad that is the right balance of sweet with mustard + very moist turkey. Mike's makes Texans proud !
Plus, some really neat decor and lots of space to choose from either indoors or out on the covered patio.

A little off the beaten path, but definitely worth the driven. When you walk in, it’s a good down home feel. The staff support questions. I had the ribs, darn good !

Great little secluded bbq joint with a nice patio for the dogs. You’ll walk around back with your dog to the patio and then walk in to order at a counter. They’ll bring food out and paper towels and sauces. Food was great, I’d recommend the brisket for sure. Spicy sauce wasn’t too hot, but the mac and cheese has a little kick. Dogs loved all the space on the patio and food was great, so it was a worthwhile venture from I-40 on our trip (about 6min each way).

This is the best bbq place I have been to. The first time we went, the hospitality was out of this world. When the chef found out we were from San Diego he came out to greet us. He also gave us some of his famous ribs and they were delicious. These pics are from our second time we went. Received the same hospitality. Recommend this place to everyone

The wife and I came to spicy Mikes for we seen reviews online so we showed up an hour before closing. We got the three meat plate and shared. We got the link sausage pulled pork and brisket and the taste was great. The barbecue sauce was good I was hoping for the BBQ sauce to stand out. The regular was a little too sweet for me and the spicy didn't stand out as much as I would liked it to be. The coleslaw was ok, mac and cheese wasn't anything to write home about. But their pintos was well worth it and I would advise anyone to get the pintos. Would I visit again... Yes
