Dixie Cafe

Busy with locals. Friendly service. Food is adequate, but not fresh. The steamed broccoli was from frozen as was the squash.

Decent place to eat. Friendly service. I rated it low for all the little extra cost. For instance if you choose chicken strips (that come with gravy) and ask for a substitute you are charged. I would think if you asked to substitute BBQ sauce for gravy it would be free. However this is not the case. It's just seeing someone nickel and dime someone just doesn't seem right.

Waitress was great. Clean, nice restaurant. Gave you a lot of food for the price. My only complaint is the batter on the CFS was good to hard. If in area again would definitely stop.

Very good home cooking. Great vegetables (squash, mashed potatoes, carrots, black eyed peas, etc) & rolls. We had chicken fried chicken and hamburger steak with onions & gravy.

This little cafe is an amazing place to stop and get some warm food. My family and I have been coming to this local diner for quite sometime and have never left disappointed. Home cooked and served by warm and friendly staff. There are even a few plant based options that can help satisfy and entire family. I would recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone in the area.
