Fat Chicken

This is a cute little spot. A country homey feel. This was our first time here and the service was good, the woman was friendly and nice.
We ordered a bucket of chicken which comes with 4 biscuits and 8 pieces of chicken and coleslaw. We also ordered additional sides, fries, peas, and mac'n'cheese. We were very surprised that when the food was brought out, it came family style and we loved that because there are not a lot of places that do that. Although everything was freshly made, there was a lack of seasoning on quite a few items. The chicken was done but the breasts were a little overcooked because it was dry but the other pieces were juicy but did not have seasoning. The biscuits were very good and homemade. The mac'n'cheese was just okay, light on the sauce and no seasoning but I liked the way the noodles were cooked and the noodles were larger than normal which I liked. The coleslaw had a really good flavor but it had a little too spicy kick for me. The peas were surprising, it was pretty good even though I am not a pea person.
Even though the food was not the best but not the worst, the family style was definitely a great experience and we loved it as we sat and talked as a family.

This is not as good as I thought it would be but the location is super duper.Went early on a Saturday morning and the service was really slow. The food is OK. I did not find anything spectacular. I need to try another visit during happy hour. This is still a great place to hang out and have pricey drinks!!!!
I still think this place is overrated and am still not impressed by the level of service and prices.

Our first visit. The fried chicken is organic and very tasty. It is a Mom-and-Pop type operation. The sides are fresh cooked and very good. Just a touch pricey but is the best Sit down chicken place around.

This place is pretty good, I'd give it 5 stars if the chicken was a little bit more tender. I had the traditional fried chicken with the mac and cheese. It was honestly really good for what seems somewhat like a fast food place. There's something about fried chicken that just makes everyone feel like they are in a better mood. I think this place rates towards the top end of the spectrum when it comes to the 'fast food' fast fried chicken and is definitely worth giving a visit.

The mac and cheese really stood out to me as being very flavorful and tasted like it was home made. So many people are used to the stuff you get that comes out of a huge bag and is microwaved so they will love it from this place.

My first time at this place was a good one. We ordered chicken fried chicken with sweet potato fries and it was all delicious. The people were friendly and the place has some neat decor that makes it feel cozy.
You order at the counter then they bring it to your table. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
