I was leery of this place at first because it wasn’t busy on a Friday night, and there are a ton of misspellings on their menu (like really, a lot of them), but it turned out to be pretty decent. Even though it was quiet in the restaurant, it still took an hour to get appetizers after ordering, and another 30+ mins to get our meals. On the plus side, the steaks were cooked perfectly. They were truly fantastic. Be warned, though, my single crab cake appetizer was $21; my steak and mashed potatoes were $35+. Don’t even ask about the cost of a bottle of wine. It’s a scary number. This is NOT a cheap place to dine. Date night here with my husband cost us $135 plus a tip. All in all, it was a delicious meal; just unexpectedly expensive & a little slower than I would’ve liked. But I’d go back again.

The service was excellent by both managent and wait staff. Really nice ambience and excellent food quality. Great for high end business or special occassion personal. Appetizer portions are almost bigger than main course and nearly as expensive. Appetizer was a huge plate of onion rings for $20, Main was 4 med sized scallops and brussel sprouts for $30!

Busy Friday night, would suggest reservations. Ordered the porterhouse for 2 , the strip side was extremely tough even though it was medium rare, the filet side was not medium rare, a little overcooked for my taste. The entire steak was sliced which made it easy to eat. Baked potatoes were not soft, maybe prepared earlier and reheated up. I have eaten here many occasions and it was definitely off tonight.

Delicious food in very nice setting! Lots of wood decor and private seating tucked in different parts of the restaurant. Been going there for years for special occasions. Nice bar too. You know you're in a real Texas place!
