My friend and I had lunch there today. The dinner salad and raspberry vinegarette, chicken salad sandwich, pinto beans and broccoli were all delicious. Very clean, nice waitress, great service and reasonably priced. The pinto beans were FANTASTIC! Very homey too. We will be back for sure.

Homey atmosphere and delicious home cooking!!! My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and says it’s the best. I had the Seasoned Beans entry. It was great and the cornbread the comes with it is wonderful!!! Then, we shared a banana pudding. It was amazing. We plan on making Café 29 a home away from home.

WHERE HAVE I BEEN! Cafe 29, just off the square south of The Londoner is AMAZING!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not only did my family of 3 get out for under $20, but I had a GAME CHANGING Chicken Fried Steak!!!! This place is like eating at your grandmothers house, if your grandmother was a ridiculous chef with skills to pay the bills! 🤣

The mashed potatoes were just dumb. So thick and fresh. Did they make them from scratch to order? And the green beans, infused with bacon... and the steak... so thick... I took a picture of it with my fork for size reference.

Don't skip this unassuming little house/cafe. I was dumb for not coming until now. Holy cow.

If this place is a secret, it doesn't need to be!!!

Exactly what it says on the tin. A small, family owned restaurant with a limited but tasty menu. Both my husband and I were pleased with the service and food quality.

My only reason for docking a star is simply the lack of healthier menu options on their brunch menu.

It's a simple stop in old Rockwall- great for a quiet, casual bite.
