Neighbors,
My wife and I tried a new to us restaurant in Rowlett that was amazing! Super fresh Mediterranean food! The owner is the chef. Restaurant is called Ephesus Bistro & Grill.
Relaxing atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff and delicious food! The food portions are generous- you will not go home hungry. Fresh made to order and made in house food, pickled veggies, beautiful salads, and I could go on. We will be back. I'm dying to try dessert but was too full!
We had dinner on a Saturday night with two people and were able to get a table right away. The service was great as was the food.
We started out with the Feta Rolls which were amazing! You will also get a basket of pita and dip.
My chicken kebab was good a would be a good choice foe someone who isn't keen on trying something new. My husband got the Ephesus Chicken Roulade which was fantastic!!! The wine selection was very good as well. We ordered wine and water but it looks like sodas are in a can.
The Turkish tea and baklava was very good as well.
Overall it was a great meal.
My ONLY complaint was that they had music playing throughout the restaurant and they played the same 5 songs on repeat. We were there an hour and heard the same songs 3 or 4 times.
As a fan of Mediterranean food the wife and I decided to try Ephesus Bistro & Grill for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly and attentive however the food was exquisite in presentation and the flavors were wonderful. The Sea bass and Gyro plate were a real treat. The Baklava desert we shared was also excellent. We will be adding this fine place to our dining list. This was a real treat and a gem so close to our home area what a find!
First time trying this place. Great atmosphere and delicious food. We ordered the hummus and feta rolls for our appetizers. The hummus tasted so good and the feta rolls were the best, crispy on the outside and smooth cheese on the inside. We then hand the steak kababs and the lamb and eggplant dish (sorry can't remember the name) both were so good. The lamb and eggplant is flavorful and hearty. A must is the baklava, I could have eaten a whole tray of it.
