The Jalapeno Tree

It was very nice to see small plates and silverware at each table. We arrived at 11 am , when they open. Chips we're fresh and crispy, and green sauce is delicious! We had superb service. And, our food was very good!

Service was terrible. The hostess seemed put out to even be seating us. She wanted to put us next to a table with 2 kids (loud) and next to a table with 4
men drinking. We came in at 4:00pm on a Sunday afternoon they were not busy and there was plenty of tables available. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting on the waitresses to even come to the table to take our drink order. Then another five to get them t(and a soda). She came back five minutes later and took our food order. Not once did she come back to the table to check in on us. When she came back she brought the bill and my husband had to ask for a refill of tea.
Everyone seemed to be very unhappy to be here. Most Mexican restaurant have a happy and cheerful attitude not here. The only redeeming quality was the food was hot when served and was better than expected. Hence the 3 stars.
Will never eat here again or recommend it. Diane was our waitress and the hostess was not wearing a name tag, she was shorter, had short dark hair and a little bit on the heavy side.
