This place has the best on highway 59, including Houston. Awesome steaks, burgers of all kinds, alligator, sweet potato fries. I eat here most times when I am passing through the area. Highly recommend eating here. Excellent customer service!!

Don't let the "side of the highway eatery building" fool you! One of the BEST "heck, why not, let's try it out" experiences we've had! Mouth watering burgers, seafood, chicken fried steaks and desserts! Offers unique exotic burgers! Owner is a great guy! He makes you feel like y'all have known each other forever! Waitresses are very pleasant! Service is impeccable! Sure glad we went out on a limb for this place! You will be too!

I was in Shepherd for a business meeting, and asked a local for a good place to grab lunch. She directed me to this place. I am glad she did, I had a phenomenal venison burger the size of my head. It was absolutely flavorful, and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you're passing through.

Huge, creative burgers and exotic meat should you choose. It is one of the cleanest places of this type I've ever seen and the owners and staff are friendly and helpful. You can't beat the family atmosphere. The enormous stuffed baked potatoes are also very good.
