If you have heard of or tried this place, it’s time to crawl out from underneath your rock. Best home cooking buffet in all of the US. You won’t be disappointed unless overeating disappoints you.

My favorite days are Friday and Sunday’s. Ribs on Friday are magnificent. Very tender and full of bbq flavor. Sunday’s are the best. Turkey, dressing, chicken fried steak and much much more. ????

Oh, and the staff and owners are awesome. Very fun and friendly. The owners are very involved in the community and awesome work to give back.

Butter Churn has good home cooking. The salad bar is amazing with all spinach and iceberg lettuce, fresh and crisp. Toppings galore to create your custom salad and yummy macaroni and vegetable salads, pickles and olives. Two amazing soups everyday. Rotating dishes each day of the week so always something different to try. Wonderful cooks night out meal for a home cooked meal.

I’m not a fan of buffets, after weight loss surgery I’m all about quality over quantity. Most buffets serve food straight from the can so I was leery of this place. The best all around meal I’ve had in a while. No complaints at all. My family was satisfied, even my picky kids. Everything seemed to be home cooked with pride- something that has been forgotten in most places. We will be staying in Portland for another 6 months or so and Butter Churn will be a regular dinner stop for us! The owner should be proud, he’s really done a fantastic job with this place!
