Good staff

I grew up in New Orleans but I've lived in S Texas for about 6 years now. Since I've been here I've tried every Cajun/Creole/Louisiana restaurant i can. I get a poboy and gumbo. I'm extremely picky about Cajun/ creole food. I have to say Primeauxs gumbo needed just a pinch of salt added and it was excellent. From me that's pretty high praise. The shrimp Poboy was a little fancier (very large shrimp and they weren't stingy) than i thought but was also delicious. It would be 5 stars but im going to have to eat there a few more times first.

Friday May 29 2020 I had shrimp scampi and tuna steak over Caesar salad. They were excellent and went well together.I was too hungry to take photos didn't think about it until after I had dug in. The flavor on the tuna was really good and so was the scampi. Wished I'd gotten some garlic bread to go with.

We got the fish basket and flounder basket. The fried string onions were a surprise. Good fish got both spicy and extra spicy. Will definitely go back.

Went there first time today. I am glad to say I really enjoyed the shrimp basket. I liked the breading due to it was light, crispy and very tasty. Will be going back for sure.
