I recently dined at the Rice Hat and had a fantastic experience. The fried dumplings were a standout with their perfectly crispy exterior. As for the pho, it was bursting with flavor, making each spoonful a delight. The combination of great food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere truly made my visit memorable. I highly recommend trying out their fried dumplings and savoring the flavorful pho. It's a culinary experience that shouldn't be missed!
Nice new spot for us to get our Vietnamese fix. Great food portions......great value for your money.
They can use a little music or ambient sound as it's very quiet. I don't like hearing everything that goes on around me.
We will be back, for sure.
Wonderful new addition to Portland! Last week we got take out and enjoyed it. Today I took my son and his girlfriend, who are visiting from Austin. We all loved our entrees! Generous portions, food was delicious and beautiful presentation. Only thing you could work on is atmosphere. Putting on some music would go along way. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Great food! My new favorite in town for sure!
There was a little wait since they were busy. But they were fast. The AC was broken or not capable to manage and it was unbearably HOT! I’m sorry but that was unacceptable.
The food was hot and savory. Good flavor mostly but portions of my beef asparagus plate was overly salty. The Vietnamese egg roll wasn’t good. Lacked flavor and meat. Stick with Chinese ones. The crabragoons were common like they are everywhere.
Overall it was another decent to good Asian food place. Nothing overly spectacular but the bill. And not in a good way.
Cost average was closer to $30 per person. Not really worth that expense, but guess that what to expect with anything. All prices going up.
I’ll likely give them another try after the work things out.
They just opened and we had a great to go experience. Just 20 minutes from phone call to walking out of the restaurant with food. Neat menu with options for everyone. We enjoyed the fresh/fragrant shaken beef, great texture orange chicken and happy family with plenty of vegetables. The edamame was a little flavorless, would recommend trying the garlic upgrade. In my brief time in the restaurant, the place seemed clean and plenty of tables.
