    Best place to get some authentic Mexican food. You feel very welcomed.

    If your ever in Tyler, El Norteno is the place to go for Authentic Mexican food! Went there for lunch with a friend, all I can say is , " WoW" ! The food was fabulous! My friend had a bowl Of Caldo de Res ( Beef Soup ), the bowl was enormous and filled with everything you would expect and more. The Beef was tender and plentiful, and the veggies were the same. My friend had to ask for a ladder to get to the top to start ! LoL! Needless to say, he never finished it. I had the Chile Relleno plate, it was super ! The beans were tasty and the rice was flavorful! The service was quick and friendly. Our waitress was always asking if we needed anything and ready to fill our glasses of tea. I know where I'm going the next time I go to Tyler, El Norteno!

    Very best guacamole and hot sauce in town! As well is the Shrimp Cocktail. Nice atmosphere. Owner is very kind.

    This is my favorite Mexican restaurant by far. The owner is very friendly. You have to try it if you're in Tyler, I drive 40 minutes to eat here at least once a week.
