cajun food... so fresh. don't fret if it's busy, it is worth the wait. it has a cool atmosphere. feels like a place in los angeles i liked.

cajun food and the setting here is quality. You won't be disappointed in the menu and service. Quick and friendly service. Prices were reasonable.

Not a place I would have stopped if I hadn't had a friend insisting we go there for lunch. It doesn't look like much from the outside, hell it doesn't look like much from the inside, but hot dog the food is good! Our waitress was very nice and speedy to boot! We got in and out in under 30 minutes. Would definitely go back to try more of the good!

We both had the gumbo and fried catfish today for lunch. WOW, it was so good. The gumbo is meaty and flavorful, and everything in it is just right. The catfish was melt in your mouth, like I haven't had since we stopped in Jackson, MS a few years back and found an out of the way local place to hide out from a big windstorm blowing through the state. The place isn't fancy, but it is comfortable, great tea, good coffee, pleasant staff, nice and clean, good parking. I'd rather have all that Bud Jones Bayou does right than a fancy dining room any day! We'll be back for oyster po boys on Wednesday.

This is the hole-in-the-wall place you always hope to find, and hope others don't. Simply unbelievable food, great service and only a few tables so get their early.
