Daniel Boone's Grill & Tavern

I love this place so much! When my mom asked me where I wanted to eat for my 22nd birthday, I couldn't resist Daniel Boone's. Their chicken fried steak is literally almost as good as your Mama's, and I love that they give an option on portion sizes! Plus they give out free beans! The waitress we had took excellent care of us, and of course rallied up her fellow colleagues for a lovely birthday song for me. (thanks mom lol) The facilities are always pristine, and the price to amount of food ratio is out of this world! If you're looking for a family friendly, Texan oriented place to chow down with great prices and a good environment, this is the place to go!

Always enjoy eating here. The atmosphere and food are both great! The wait staff are friendly and quick. If you've never been here, pinto beans are free with each order. They have plain, thick beans or a spicy choice. Each are good. Another freeby is Blue Bunny ice cream or sherbet. And seconds are allowed!
We love seeing all the rustic decor...rusty tin ceiling, antiques, cute sayings. Their silverware holder is an amazing white enamel sink. Wish I had one just like it in my house.

This was my first time visiting this place. I loved my experience here and i will definitely be back! For the price, I believe that you get a value for what you pay for. I ordered the one pound hamburger steak and was not disappointed. It was seasoned beautifully and was absolutely delicious. I didn't try the beans but i thought the ice cream bar was very well done with a variety of flavors. I also liked the decorations around the room and i think that it was very well done as well. Thank you for the wonderful experience and like i said.. I'll definitely be back!

Great place to eat! Good food, casual atmosphere, clean seating area and good wait staff. The only reason the don't get 5 stars is because the restroom was disgusting.

A neat place for lunch or dinner. The menus are entertaining enough. Good selection of home cooking. I like the chicken fried steak, okra and mashed potatoes. They have complementary chili beans and pinto beans with crackers while you wait for your meal. Or you can make a meal out of their beans with a side if cornbread. After your meal they have complementary Blue Bell ice cream. Eight different flavors. You are bound to like one of them.
