Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

This was one of the best meals my wife and I have had in Tyler. It was already late but we were not rushed and neither was the staff. We enjoyed a nice meal and it was delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and we were able to finish without that "please get out of here" feeling you sometimes get when it's late and the staff is ready to clean up and go home. It was very pleasant. We will definitely be returning when we visit Tyler ????.Thank you Cheddar's.

Awesome veggies, those casseroles and baked potatoes are very good and filling. Stuff isn't always hot when it's brought out. But...the food is definitely better than, say, a Chili's. I'd like their salads, side salad and their bigger options. I'd like next time to try fried shrimp which with looked great at a table near us. Yes, I peeked. Ha! The sweet tea's good. Still haven't tried desserts but will. Really love the salads. Staff is ok but not that engaging or fast. I'll definitely go back, especially for my favorite item: broccoli cheese casserole. That stuff is incredibly delicious!

Weekdays this is a great restaurant. We came in on a Friday for date night, and we were not treated well at all. We sat outside and we were the only table that our waiter had outside. Manager should have passed us off to someone with more tables outside who would be more present. Food wasn't as good or quick, and the appetizer was cold when it arrived. I would definitely come back on a weekday, but never again on a Friday night.

It was great! And that's pretty obvious by the constant crowd. The food (salmon, shrimp, steak, onion rings was our choice) was perfect! And the manager came over and asked how everything was. His name was Johnny Brown and he was very polite and sincere when I was unable to find my debit card. What would've been a very embarrassing for my daughter and I was calmed by his sincerity. He told us we could come by the next day and bring it in once we located it. Luckily, I remembered a good friend around the corner that happened to be up and she gave me the money to pay our bill. Thank you Mr. Brown for being so kind and such a gentleman. That is rare these days, and we will definitely be back and always recommend "your" restaurant. Great service...great food!
