Jimmy's Egg

I have rated this a 4 star for two reasons. Have eaten breakfast here twice now. Really like the food, but they need to do a better job of getting the food to the customer. Neither time the food was hot!!!! And also, using the ladies room is quite a disadvantage in trying to access the toiletpaper. The dispensers are so low you practically stand on your head to be able to reach it!!!! This is a major problem. I don't know why they have to install them so low. But, other those two reasons I could rate it 5 stars. It is a very nice place to eat.

Service was great as was the atmosphere. Wish I could say the food was better. Everything was very bland. My husband had the two meat breakfast and I had an omelette with grits and potatoes. The grits tasted like cardboard and the potatoes had no flavor at all. My husband said the same about his breakfast. It was very busy, so maybe we caught them on a bad day. Might give it another try.

I had the Sunrise Cubano. It was ALMOST perfect. I wanted the eggs over medium(runny yellow solid white), one was good but the other was completely dry. Meat could be seasoned more as well. Wife had Eggs Benedict. She was happy. Overall great experience. Staff was awesome. Clean place. Will definitely go again.

This neat little breakfast and lunch restaurant has been recently added to the casual dining experience in Tyler Texas. It’s in a great location just off of Broadway and they’ve really done a good job of setting up the restaurant. They recently had a preview dining experience before the opening day of October 14, 2019. Drop in and enjoy, you’ll not be disappointed.

My wife and I, paid a visit this morning. To our surprise, they were having a soft opening for training purposes. The place has a great atmosphere. Reminded me me of places you'd see in a movie, or TV show, where the waitress is shouting orders to the cooks. Awesome service and the food was excellent. We went for the breakfast, but plan on returning to try the lunch menu. Prices are reasonable and comparable with other area restaurants. We highly recommend a visit.
