“First time to eat here.... service was great. The appetizer and salad was delicious. My daughters cheeseburger, one of the best shes ever had. My wife's 16$ pork chop was so thin and over cooked, dry. not worth the price. I got the ol rib eye. The house special, that it was not. So much grease on the plate and it was so salty. Disgusting. And to top it off it was 26$. Very disappointed with this place. I'll stick with Roadhouse. Sorry.”

“I was super skeptical about this place, since What About Gyro and His Kebabs mysteriously vanished and left me with abandonment issues, I quickly got into an entanglement with other Greek places of which I shall not name. This turned out to be a bad decision but it was all I had; however a part of me knew it wasn't right for me but I wasn't sure if I was ready to move on. Then a friend told me about this place and something told me I had to try it. I'm sure glad I did! I loved it! the food was amazing and the gyro was everything I wanted it to be when I was just a poor college student: cheap, plentiful, and delicious! now that I've graduated, I care about things like ambiance, and service....thankfully Tiba killed in those two departments too! if you haven't been here, you're missing parts of your life. this place is hotter than my previous two mix tapes and trust me, they were fire. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.”

“Tyler has been lacking a vegan food scene for years and 1948 answered the call. I usually don’t eat out because impossible to find fueling food that leaves you feeling well in the Tyler area until now. 1948 feels like an extension of my own kitchen, quality ingredients, exceptional flavor and mindful preparation. Food made with joy is far more beneficial than the empty calories all around us. The atmosphere is beautifully curated and intentionally laid out support a community experience while you enjoy breakfast, lunch or a cup of coffee. Hats off to the 1948 crew, you’re leading the city in the right direction.”

“It was packed and for a good reason. The food and drinks were delicious. The tortillas were handmade, the salsa was incredible, and the dessert was amazing. I recommend the apple pie dessert. The drinks are tasty and potent. I'll be back to try something besides the fajitas. My husband highly recommends the Rose Burger.”

“I normally wouldn’t have even found this place (it’s in a Sunoco Gas Station on Hwy 155 and why does the name on this say Fitness?!!) but I am so glad I did because it is incredible! The best Chinese food (Asian Fusion they call it) I’ve ever had. It is a great take out place. If you eat in it is not fancy but the service is excellent and the food more than makes up for the lack of ambience. I’m not kidding!!! It’s unreal how good it is. I had Orange Peel Beef and shared Potstickers and Crab Rangoon appetizers. My husband said the Crab Rangoon was the best he’d ever eaten. It’s just fabulous!!! And, just so you know, the name is Fusion Express II.”
