This Korean BBQ joint was a little disappointing. It looks cool from where you walk in However where we were seated (almost right next to the rr’s )it was dirty and floor is very slippery. The slices of meat were so thin they were almost transparent! Plus they all looked and tasted the same. Vegetables were not so crisp more chewy than anything ( and this was a Sunday afternoon) The “ Korean Wings” were actually frozen honey buffalo wings-in-a-bag :/ the service was pleasant and therefore I give 3 stars.
First time trying and it was great! For the price, it’s totally worth it. Love how they have a buffet style and still have more options on their menu! It was so good and definitely going back.
Great place. Came here for dinner. Staff was very attentive. Nice interior, food is great, and good selection. Standard price for a place like this.
Well definitely come back.
Edit. It's been 3 years later and I have came to eat here on a few occasions. The place is still great. But I understand the reviews about what others are saying.
One being when they break down the buffet in relation to their coming hours. They should simply say closed at 9 instead of 10. Showing up at 830 and having food taken away around 9 from buffet line when the place "closes" at 10 doesn't seem right.
Denying customers at 9pm when it "closes" at 10 doesn't seem right either. Most restaurants serve food all the way up to their closing time. I think there is just a big miscommunication here. Changing their hours to close an hour sooner would avoid a lot of unnecessary reviews and problems.
This was our first visit to Jin. My husband and I know great Korean food. We've eaten it for years and have a Korean daughter in law. We also prepare it at home. We were beyond pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely delicious! The very many side dishes was reminiscent of home cooking.. They were fresh and delicious! We started with ribs. They were perfectly marinated, tender and delicious.
I can wait for my son and his family to visit so we can share this wonderful find!
The atmosphere is nice, I guess, and the service is great. The servers were very nice to my two siblings and I. We really did enjoy the atmosphere in that it was fun to grill our own food, but we were all really really bothered that there were so few items to order off the menu and grill. Looking at all of the piles of raw meat at the buffet... It just didn't look very sanitary to me at ALL. At other Korean BBQ restaurants I've been to, you sit and order as you go, not go and pick from a buffet. I definitely wouldn't return myself, but it wasn't a bad experience. I just prefer other types of KBBQ.
