Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Any place that is confident enough in the quality and flavor of their food to serve it on butcher paper instead of a plate is either confident or crazy. These people have earned the right to be extremely confident in the quality of their food.

Everything you want from a bbq joint. Easy more or less self-serve (for refrigerated sides and relishes and drinks at least) and. quick and friendly mains and check-out. Plenty of seating in separate rooms so it doesn't get too loud or crowded-feeling. Food is very good. All entrees, bean salad and corn outstanding.

This Rudy’s is good. Good bbq ambience and good food. Although I strongly believe that the Research BLVD Rudy’s in Austin has this one beat (better meat), do not underestimate what this location has to offer. Great for a date, tour stop, family/friends’ night out.

Always have loved Rudy's Barbecue! We used them for catering for our holiday party and since they are mostly guys, it worked out great! Ashley was super attentive and quick to answer my many questions. She was actually sick one day prior to our event and still managed to hop onto her email to make sure we were taken care of - but her co-workers had already done it! If you're thinking about getting catering for your next party from Rudy's, I highly recommend them.
