El Ranchito Restaurant

The food is good here. The last 2 times I have been here I was sat at a dirty table that had silverware on it. Clean silverware rolled in a clean napkin. My server was scarce. She checked on me and turned to walk away without refilling my iced tea and I still had half of my meal left. I had to ask for a refill. Waited over 15 minutes for my check so I could leave. This seems to be the norm here

Huge birthday party with over 15 guest. Our waiter was great but his helper was not to excited. I expected more from the queso but it was just cheese nothing special. The food was hot but the drinks were not strong.

Food was great and service on point. The only criticisms would be the band and I was family dining in the bar area. Had this been a busy night, I would have been sitting eye level with people's butts as they sit or stand at the bar...yes we were that close! The band, although talented, was seven strong and the instruments were drowning out what I had planned to be relaxing conversation. There was no stage so the band walked around to several tables....the closer they got, the louder they got. I would definitely go back but will check the schedule.

Great tacos and enchiladas. Salsa is flavorful, but hot. Great by me, but The Wife could not eat it. The tortilla chips do not seem made on site. All in all, solid TexMex.

Service is friendly, but I am perplexed that after three visits I have had to ask for my check each time despite having indicated we were done and even obtained a to-go box.
