Rise & Shine

Decent, home-style food. Got in and out fast... Which accomplished our goal. Server is friendly. Grilled chicken was dry and what I would expect from a place like this!

Gotta get there early if you want biscuits. They stop making them around 10. That is about the time my wife and I finally drag ourselves out of bed for breakfast on the weekends. Their visits are amazing so definitely be there early.

Service is wonderful and the breads are delicious. The cook can't read a ticket so you get the wrong food as well as it being cold. I have been a few times myself and my food was only prepared correctly the first time.

It's an old restaurant that kinda reminds me of those dinners in the oven shoes. Very quiet atmosphere. Very good food, a lot of the breads (biscuits, raisin bread,white bread) are actually made in house!! The biscuits are very good and soft and taste even better with their peppered gravy. The pancakes are absolutely amazing and the home fried are to die for. What I'm getting at is that the food here is phenomenal! The portion size is filling, but you would think they would be smaller judging by the prices. This is good, filling breakfast for a cheap price. I go here often because my boyfriend loves it!! I do to!

I haven't been to this location in 5 years or so. I just wanted a hot breakfast of biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were perfect homemade biscuits. Coffee was hot and the waitress was kind and attentive. There's no fancy gimmicks here, just good hot food, fair portion sizes and good hot coffee.
