Torchy's Tacos

This was my first visit to Torchy's. The manager who was named Zach was really sweet to me and my daughter. He made our day by going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our meal. I don't normally leave reviews, but thank you for making my day sweeter by being so kind, thoughtful and generous to us. We thank you Zach.

The burritos were good. It just took a little longer than I thought to get my order. I had to ask if it was ready. The guy went in the back and came out quickly with the food. I think they forgot to give it to me and it was just sitting there.

I've never been disappointed by the food or service. On a recent visit, our order was incorrect. (My wife has a good allergy). I was very impressed with how the MOD handled my comoliant. Despite being very busy, he took time to listen, let is keep the incorrect order AND made sure to personally deliver the correct one. Based on our positive experience, we decided to use them for a recent cater. The event was a smashing success which I attribute partly to the restaurant and manager's attention to detail.

The best gourmet tacos I've ever had! I can't decide if the "Trailer Park" with deliciously seasoned fried chicken (on the right in photo) or the "Alabama Shake" with fried catfish is better, but I will be 100% okay with going back again and again to try to figure it out! My husband prays the taco of the month, "Roscoe," will become a permanent menu item. It is chicken and waffles with bacon and a fried egg. The ingredients are high quality, the atmosphere is fun and laid back, and I seriously can't wait to eat there again. ????

I really would give the food 3 out of 5 stars, but I think they deserve another star for their interior decorating. I ordered a Mr. Orange which came w/salmon, corn, black bean relish, and cilantro and lime. It was pretty good, unfortunately the salmon was dry. The Fried Avocado taco was also pretty good, although I don't think it's necessary to fry avocado when the avocado would taste very good on its own. Raw avocado with a whisp of salt, pepper, and lime juice would be preferable to frying it in my humble opinion. Next was the Chicken Fajita taco, which wasn't quite as good as I had anticipated, but I must admit that I made a mistake requesting for it to be made with corn tortillas instead of flour...live and learn. Ordering online was a snap, and the interior lighting of the restaurant comprised of these stunning chandeliers, a touch of class to the look of the place. It was only missing a gas or electric fireplace and it would have been a lot cozier. The setback was the rice and bean combo, because unfortunately the rice tasted way too salty, yuck. I don't recommend the rice and bean combo, but everything else was alright. Staff member at To Go Counter was polite and friendly as well, so I will definitely become a return customer, and simply remember to omit the item which I didn't care for this time.
