I love stopping here on my lunch break every so often. You wont be disappointed. They have great soul food that makes me not want to return to work lol! But dont miss this gem, definitely a place to stop if you are in need of some comfort food. The owner and staff are great, keep up the nice work!

Damian's is a gem. A tiny hole in the wall, in a hard to get to strip shopping center, with little parking and a limited number of tables and seats... and some of the best soul food in town. Selections vary by day, but everything is fantastic. Smoked meatloaf, gumbo, catfish, porkchops, fried chicken, smothered beef tips are some of the tasty dishes that are offered, and sides are red beans & rice, mashed potatoes, smothered cabbage, dirty rice, mac & cheese, all exquisitely seasoned. Come early before they run out of favorites, and to get a seat, because they do a brisk business.

Hole n the wall, but food is down home finger licking good. Tried this place 4 years ago & was impressed that I could find food in the area that tasted like it came out of my kitchen. ???? It was convenient to my office, so I came twice a week for a whike. Service can be a little slow, but worth the wait. One issue is that they run out of some of the dishes real quick. ???? gumbo

This place is excellent. Damian and his family serve incredible food and offer amazing service. From the moment I walked in I felt warm and welcome. Recommend to everyone!

I have been coming to this place for years and the only bad experience I have had is when they run out of peach cobbler! From the quality of food to the quality of service, Mr Damian and his team never fails to deliver. My personal favorite is the Fried Pork Chops! It is a great dish with generous portions. Try the Chicken Fried Chicken and gumbo also. And of course the peach cobbler is a must! I always order two when I go lol. Moral of the story is Damian’s Cajun Soul Cafe is a must have, you will not be disappointed!
