Southern Eats

Had dinner and the staff was friendly and engaging. Food was good. Atmosphere is nice. A very neat & clean place to eat. No matter how good the food may be it’s important to me as a picky diner that the establishment is well kept. I like this place!

Met my sister here for lunch her decision to try it out and we both agreed we will be coming back! Now I can’t comment on how she felt about her food but she did say she will go back. The service was good! It was lunch time and not really busy. I had the fried fish yams and greens everything was delicious I did have to return the greens only because I don’t eat red meat which I’m sure I could’ve ask for greens without the meat in it but i know for next time anyways they switched my greens for okra quickly without a problem. The yams was my favorite really good!

Went in for the first time this evening. I had the Shrimp and Grits and my dining companion had Fried Shrimp. Both were delicious. The portions are huge, in addition to 2 sides, which were also very good. Everything appeared fresh and made from scratch. Continued success and hope to return soon.

I rarely write reviews, but everybody needs to check out this place immediately! Sure, the service was a little slow at first, as noted by a few other reviewers.... BUT they are still very new and working out those kinks. They were very friendly though; and the amazing drinks V made, along with the sausage mac n cheese balls, kept us more than happy as we waited.

Something that has NO kinks though: the food. They have some of the best southern food I've ever tasted, especially their fried chicken. Good fried chicken is my last-meal meal... and this fried chicken is the best chicken I've ever had (sorry, Babe's). Their sides are amazing, and they have super fresh and flavorful greens that aren't mush. Seriously. It's SO good.
