Hickory Bird

FINALLY, a quick serve restaurant with healthy food! Roasted smoked chicken, broccoli, sweet potato mash... and the service was fast and friendly... I'm in heaven! Please, open more of these.

I was in the area and was looking for places to grab a quick lunch. I saw that this restaurant still had 5 stars after opening just a few weeks ago. I did not realize that it was actually in the Wal-Mart, and frankly, I am quite impressed that such a clean, fresh and bright restaurant would be inside the big box store.

The food was good. I got the roasted hickory chicken with two sides. The chicken was very good and was served warm. The flavoring on the chicken was good and had penetrated the meat to give it flavor throughout. I also got the BBQ sauce, but found that I really did not need it. The black beans and rice were also tasty and made for a great meal.

I hope that they will be able to draw in the customers they need to make it work long term. You can tell that the owners care about the details and they have not taken any shortcuts in opening this new restaurant.

Didn't think I'd ever find a place with better fries than McDonald's. This place has the best fries I've ever had! Definitely makes for a great shopping snack

Awesome flavorful chicken. I would compare it to Pollo Tropical but with better chicken. Excellent service and a great family meal value.

First time visiting and had a great experience overall. The establishment was very clean and the food was excellent. We had the pleasure of getting great customer service from an employee in training, Kristin K. She was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable of the food, and we enjoyed everything she recommended. The training staff was also very helpful and friendly as well. I highly recommend this place for fast, fresh, homestyle, and tasty food.
