Wood & Grain Bistro

Minimalist, contemporary counter-service cafe that strives for fresh, locally sourced fare. Sufficienly impressed enough with the pecan encrusted salmon that I'll be bringing the family back for weekend brunch. I always hope that mom-n-pop places succeed, so why don't you give 'em a try?

I didn't even know about this place until someone came by my office handing out menus. I'm pretty sure it was the owner (dressed like a chef ????) I really like that personal approach to business building, so I decided to try them out.
I placed a pickup order, and the employee on the phone was very helpful. I ended up having the BLT with fries. Both were delicious! The bacon was thick and meaty, and there was a generous amount, served on lightly toasted bread. The fries were seasoned but not too salty. They were crispy outside and tender inside. I'm not sure how they didn't get soggy in the ToGo container. The container, by the way, was pretty nifty. It opened up on the sides so I could use it for a plate.
I can't wait to try more of the menu!

Two visits so far, one for breakfast, one for lunch. Great food and friendly service. My wife loved the avocado toast (ate it both visits) I had the pork belly Benedict and the Ruben sandwich both were delicious. I think we will go back again today!

The food here was great. We loved the atmosphere and enjoyed lunch while have a meeting with the chamber. Definitely a place I will come back to eat.

Great atmosphere, clean space, and cool decorations. The food was amazing. I ordered eggs Florentine which were delicious and my side were the hash browns. They were crispy and tasty—best hash browns I had in a long time. The only reason I am not giving a five star is because they didn’t have non-fat milk which I like in my lattes. They did however have almond milk and 2%.
