Benny's Cafe

family atmosphere, great food, owner knows us by face/name and the little wait is WORTH IT!! Being busy folks, is a great problem to have! No, no expansion- keeps us coming back for more with the family place.

The food is very good. I haven't tried anything that was disappointing yet. It's obviously a place for regulars and the managers seem to know them, they make an effort to come around and make sure everything is good. My only suggestion would be that they make the bathrooms unisex as they are individual rooms anyway. Good friendly place though, well worth the visit.

Fantastic food, service, and people there. Everything we had was good. Harried were just right, pancakes were great with a hint of vanilla, omelets were huge and done just right.

Wee will definitely be going back soon

I went to Benny's Cafe alone today during rush hour. I was immediately seated in a booth in the back. This was unusual because I was alone and there was a table for two right by the front door. I understand giving me a table for four instead of two is a gracious gesture when you are busy. I was greeted right away and served an excellent cup of coffee. The food I ordered was great and came out quickly. Top notch service. The owner came by and greeted me! This place is a great addition to Colleyville. Give it a try!

Benny's is a hidden treasure. I see them quickly outgrowing the current location. Wow what an amazing restaurant. I've never tried chicken waffles before and to my surprise I can't believe I didn't try the meal sooner. We also enjoyed the Eggs and grits with a side of pancakes. The stand out on this plate was the pancakes. I don't know if I've just never had real buttermilk pancakes before or if they add extra flavor, but they had a slight hint of lemon. Maybe that's just the buttermilk, but the pancakes had a refreshing likeness to them. The wait was not long and outdoor seating was available. There was beautiful weather in Texas today and I over heard many asking for outdoor seating. I mention the because I foresee on a hot day crowding becoming an issue. There isn't much of a waiting area so foodies will want to arrive early, especially on the weekends as Benny's becomes more popular. They serve breakfast and lunch. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu ???? Eggs Benedict in the near future.
