Chen's Wok

I am pretty picky about my Chinese food. Especially eggrolls. Don't give me that thin smooth fried spring roll as an eggroll. I want crispy, slightly bumpy fried heaven stuffed with Chinese pork and cabbage. Chen's eggrolls are juuuust right. The steamed dumplings are good, the wonton soup has actual wontons and not just dumplings dropped in clarified chicken broth.... Chen's isn't gourmet, it isn't fancy, it isn't going to introduce you to a new culinary world... it will taste like happiness and comfort.

Update: while I still love Chens, you should know their chicken chow mein isn't what you normally get. It is a chicken veggie dish in some type of white sauce. I am not quite sure if there is a single noodle in it. I really dislike it. I dont see a single other dish called Chicken Chow Mein like it in google image search. It is weird.

Chen's Wok is a great place to get hot, delicious Chinese takeaway. They make each order fresh, so no worries about getting stuff that's sat on a steam table for who knows how long like you get at some places.

There are no surprises on the menu. It's your standard American Chinese food. However, they have a lot of dishes to choose from and they'll make your order spicy or mild on request.

The chicken and mixed vegetables was fantastic. It was cooked when i ordered and was fresh and tasty. If i had to say anything ..u wish it had more broccoli in it. The staff is very friendly and had everything in your to go order from napkins to soy and duck sauce.

First time ordering out from Chen Wok. We got the Mongolian Beef and the Chicken Chow Mien. The egg rolls are so delicious! We should have ordered more. We will definitely be back.
