I've eaten here 25 times over 4 months. It's excellent EVERY TIME! I HIGHLY recommend eating here if you're flying out of Terminal E satellite in DFW airport.

Great barbeque at the newly opened E-Terminal Satellite! For people who happen to be flying out from this reclusive area of the airport, Dickey's is here to ensure that you have an excellent time with fresh meat ranging from all varieties of pork and beef, along with an impressive selection of sides. While the price might be somewhere on the higher end of the spectrum, this is pretty normal for airport restaurants, so I can forgive it. And hey, even if you aren't flying out of the Satellite, this place might just be a reason to go check it out anyway! Cheers, and happy flying!

Barbecue is just ok. I ordered the Barbecue Baker. The potato is huge but they put very little actual meat on it. Also don't put very much BBQ sauce on it unless you ask for more. They also don't have extra toppings like chives or bacon bits so the potato is a bit plain. It's decent for being an airport restaurant if you don't mind paying higher prices for average food.

I was waiting for my flight and decided to try Dickey's. I was hesitant because it's an airport and typically the food quality isn't as high as other locations however I was pleasantly surprised. I had the three meat plate with brisket, chicken and pulled pork with BBQ sauce, mac n cheese and green beans. The mac and green beans were slacking but what's most important, the meat, was pretty good. The brisket and pulled pork were cooked well and the chicken was savory (for chicken). Overall a good experience for an airport restaurant, definitely better than the other options located near the same gates.
