Madea's Down Home Cooking

This food blessed my soul and lifted my spirits!! I can't wait to go back. Everything I had was pure perfection. Those smothered turkey wings had me questioning why I'd spend my money anywhere else. The staff was amazing as well and very professional. Madeas is everything!

I get to travel many places. Very blessed to find such at home cooking. Food fantastic. Fried pork chops, okra, black eyed peas, Mac n cheese, homemade cake, and Kool aid. How can you go wrong. Awesome service!!!

What can you say that hasn't been said about this place. A 30 minute wait is well worth it. The collard greens are always done to perfection. The staff that serves the portions are so polite. The ambiance is one of those "way down home types". You just feel comfortable eating your delicious food .

Fantastic place for home cooking. The food is great and the staff is friendly. Also, the portion size is very generous. I will definitely get more than one meal out of my lunch.

If you leave hungry from Madea's, it's your own fault! I had never been to Madea's before and my first visit was enough to put this amazing restaurant on my must-see list every chance I get to Fort Worth. I had the baked chicken with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. It was awesome! Next time though, I'm having the chicken fried steak or the catfish fillets. The staff was friendly and helpful and I'm sure you will agree with me when you taste the food that nobody makes home cooking closer to what mom made than Madea's!
