McAlister's Deli

McAlister's is not usually a place where I think about going for food, but anytime someone else suggests it, I enjoy the food I order.

From spuds to sandwiches to soups to salads, you will enjoy your meal. I'm not sure why but each time I eat here I am surprised how much I like the food.

On my most recent visit, I ordered a cup of the crab and corn chowder. It was delicious! It was late, so the cup was the perfect portion, but my heart definitely wanted the bowl portion. I would come back really soon just for this chowder. And it wasn't as high in calories compared to other chowders.

My partner ordered the sweet chipotle chicken sandwich with fruit. The sauce was addictive and really made the sandwich.

I noticed that the condiment container near the sodas didn't have any crackers like they used to. Not sure if they changed the location or just didn't have time to restock. I do miss the buttery crackers instead of plain saltines.

I've enjoyed the sweet tea here but after I learned the sugar content, I try to stay away. That being said, if you're a sweet tea lover, this is the place to go.

Overall, Mcalister's is a solid deli place near TCU. There is always plenty of table space for large groups or studying.

Great service. Good food. Giant drinks. I'd go again.

Great sandwiches and quick service. Good place to grab some food and study a min in between classes. Very nice staff.

This is my favorite McAlister's. It is a smaller location but has some of the best staff ever. They are always eager to assist you in making a decision from their menu of many choices.
