EDIT: I have since updated from 4 to 5 stars. The service has drastically improved and I have no complaints.
Fantastic food. My favorite is the Green Curry, which in and of itself is addicting and always worth the trip.
However; some days the food can leave something to be desired. I’m not sure if the particular cooks make the dishes in different ways, but there should be more consistency. Also, as a general rule, the service is poor and there seems to be a lack of attention usually resulting in a wait to order, or more commonly a wait to get the check. On one occasion I specifically asked for the check 3 times in over 30 minutes before I finally was able to pay and leave.
To recap; AMAZING food (usually) with poor service. If you’re in a hurry, find somewhere else, I usually have to spend over an hour here.
We had a great experience here. They offer a lot of selections and a quiet dining experience. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a nice selection for vegetarian options. This is my first time ordering a vegetarian dish from a Thai restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed my mixed vegetables, fried tofu, and brown rice. My fiance enjoyed his food too: green beans, red bell pepper, and chicken... But beware, the crushed red pepper sauce is hot hot HOT.
Update on Thai restaurant: I wrote a review on Google and Yelp about what happened two weeks ago. I got the owners attention, so she asked for Emily and I to come back in. They still don't substitute Thai rice, so I just ordered a side of it. But the Sacha, the manager was super understanding, and very nice. I apologized to her to, so all is good in the world!
P.S. I would give yeah all 5 stars if y'all substituted Brown rice for Thai rice.
I absolutely love Thai Select. Some reviews I feel like I'm in between 4-5 stars and so I go ahead and rate 5 stars. That is not the case with Thai Select, everything is fantastic.
If you stop by on a weekday before 2:30pm, they have a great lunch special that includes an egg or spring roll, and tea to drink. Do yourself a favor and try the green curry, the flavor is excellent. The chicken thai fried rice is also amazing, and has a generous amount of chicken, which is important.
The service is always fast and friendly. 5 Stars
