I never order Fajitas because the beef is always dry and tough but I had a big office event and I ordered Beef Fajitas from my local On the Border. I cannot fully describe how tender and juicy the beef was. It almost melted in your mouth. Everything else was also delivered hot and fresh. I will definitely order Fajitas again for office celebrations but ONLY from On the Border on Bryant Irvin Road.
If you don't mind fast food quality food in a restaurant-style environment, this is your place. I, however, don't plan to eat here ever again.
I've had exceptional authentic Mexican food at restaurants and decent food I've made myself at home. But I don't recall ever eating Mexican food that left my stomach bothered into the following day after having eaten there for dinner with my brother. The food wasn't awful tasting but it wasn't full of flavor either. Otherwise, I would at least recommend the food for flavor. Furthermore, it's pretty clear they don't put much effort into hiring servers that understand customer service as I never once felt like retaining me as a returning customer was a priority of theirs. I've been to Uncle Julio's and while I didn't like the food their service was a left me feeling they wanted me to return.
Wouldn't classify this as Mexican food. This is Tex-Mex cuisine. Food is a little above average and when they run an all you can eat special, it's more for your money! Margaritas are good as well.
