Food is really good, service is excellent! I was not a fan of the chicken spaghetti but the smothered pork chops and rosemary chicken is good. I have yet to try the meat loaf and they sell out of the banana pudding and peach cobbler really quick so I didn't get to try it
The food here is fresh and good. I ordered the catfish which is made to order and it was very meaty, seasoned well and not too crispy. The meatloaf was okay. You do get large portion sizes on the meats but the sides are smaller. I do have to say both times I visited the wait was almost 30 minutes from the time you place your order to the time its complete and the prices are a bit expensive. The space is small with limited seating or standing room.
It's Food for the Soul, had Great Church on this Sunday. So needed some great food, a friend of my wife told her about this place called Nana's Kitchen, so we decided to try it. Nana's is a great spot, food excellent, service is so great make you feel at home and of course the price. Well telling the truth I felt like I was cheating Nana out of her hard earned money. Cause of the amount of food we got for the price we paid, Lord forgive me! Nana's is the place and will be there on Friday for the Friday Fish Fry.....See you at Nana's Kitchen!!!!!
Excellent food and service! The greens and meatloaf is as good if not better than what your grandmother would make. Be prepared to take a nap after eating too....it's that GOOD!
Beautifully Made. I had the opportunity to visit Nana's Kitchen and to my understanding the restaurant has just opened. When a person is just starting their dream it's not always big, it grows big which is what Nana's Kitchen is doing. After a month of being open they are expanding giving more room for those who like to dine in and listen to soft music and enjoy a friendly atmosphere. It seem that your used to going to large establishments where no one will even remember you and compare them to small businesses that are trying to make it. Just because you see department store bags don't mean food was made at home.
