I'm on weight watchers and their fried fish is delicious and only 1 point. They cook it fresh so allow about 10 minutes.
As a restaurant operator I like to give credit where credit is due. We live a mile away from this location. This past Saturday, 3/16, we were on the 2nd leg of a 2 day home journey from Miami. My oldest son attends The Ohio State University and was returning to Columbus on Sunday. He wanted CE before heading back. Anyway, we rolled into the neighborhood around 9:05 thinking we still had almost an hour to get food (this location claims it is open until 10PM. At the drive through speaker we we were told they were closing early and all they had was 2 pieces of chicken. I explained everything above and was told to pull around to the window. Once there, we were greeted by Farrah (I hope I’m spelling her name right) and asked what all it was we wanted to order. She told us that she wouldn’t mind making it all for us if we didn’t mind the extra wait. Of course we did.
The point is, Farrah, went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of when she clearly didn’t have to. That kind of guest service is hard to find today and also the kind I try and seek out. Take care of this young lady and I promise she will take care of your business.
Thank you Farrah!
Typically a good meal here, occasionally it’s a miss rather than a hit but that’s to be expected, my only BIG concern is the person who cooks on those days it’s not too great, sometimes we have to be selective of the pieces of chicken we eat, whoever cooks the chicken tenders and dumps it and lets it soak in grease rather than let it drip off needs to stop, it soaks the breading and falls apart, also when it’s like that the chicken is undercooked, squishy and pink toned when taking a bite rather than firm and white inside. Overall like I said it’s a good spot, just need that 1 person to work on their frying! :)
We go to Chicken Express several times a week mostly to take advantage of their drinks. Large drinks for $1.25 and half price drinks from 2-4 pm. Be sure to tell them easy ice! We love their chicken too! It's always fresh and hot with a good selection of sides.
