Ken runs an amazing restaurant. The food is the best example of Texas BBQ that I have ever had. Ken takes great pride in his food and service. Neighborhood is a little shady, but the food is well worth it.
Several weeks ago, I took a friend to this small but quaint restaurant. Though the service was a little dry, the overall experience was great. The food was excellent. I tried the pulled pork, with a side of greens and baked beans. Then polished off a key lime piece of pie. I recommend this place to anyone wanting homemade foods. The pulled pork was cooked so well that I could had eaten it with a spoon. Show up early on a Sunday because I t can get packed.
Awesome BBQ! I got the catfish with greens and coleslaw. Catfish was amazing! Nice fat fillets. The batter was perfect, very crispy with a little spice. Coleslaw and greens were made just like I like them. My husband got a chopped beef sandwich with potato salad. He loved both. Support this small business so we can keep them around! We will definitely be back.
