Amazing! We stumbled across this place while house hunting and the sandwiches were the best we’ve had in so long. The owner is also extremely kind! You can bet we’ll be back!
First time ordering. I was hesitant because of the prices but my Italian grinder was worth every penny! Really big and delicious sandwich. I’ll definitely order again!
We actually went to the temporary kitchen in Fort Worth first, where you order via a computer and basically take it with you. We've also used Grub Hub and still received fantastic sandwiches and it was more convenient.
The Italian Grinder, Jalapeno Cheddar Steak and The Colossal Pulled Pork sandwiches ARE WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!
You know I had to come in and drop a review for my boys!
It all started years ago when I lived in Bedford and had one night a week where my wife worked late and I had to do dinner solo. After some yelp searches I found out about a little sand which shack down the street. One night I decided to cruise over and check it out, only to find that the owners were working that night (and every other time I went there during this time Period). They shared their story with me, their vision for Colossal, and most of all sold me some incredible sandwiches. Between the Cubano with the pickled relish, or the Mid-Cities steak and cheese I drooled every time. There was something about the little bag of plain potato chips and a random hard candy that felt like home. And so I went every week that I had the chance.
Fast forward and they open their 2nd new storefront in Fort Worth Still slinging the best sandwiches around, still got the owners around modeling excellence to the staff, and still as kind as ever. If you're in the H-E-B or Downtown FW area do yourself a favor and give them a visit. Support a small business and a dream. You won't regret it.
Rule number 1 is don’t even try to eat this in your car. It’s take out only, but delicious food. The Reuben sandwich was good and tasty. The meat and sauerkraut were chopped like a cheesesteak, but great tasting nonetheless. Looking forward to trying more.
