I love their Light and Airy Chips and hot sauce. The Chicken Enchiladas with Sour Cream Sauce were good and my Crispy Beef Taco was tasty (had to order another). Sopapilla was worth ordering.

El Fenix delivers good TexMex food quickly. The staff is always friendly and the chips and hot sauce are amazing. Don't expect a gourmet experience, but stop in to enjoy a quick bite.

My family was pleasantly surprised to find this place close to where we live considering there really is not a lot for decent restaurants around here. Their chips are my favorite and I like the salsa too. Queso not so much. It does not have hardly any flavor at all.Yes the chips and dips are a huge part of how I rate a Mexican restaurant. I also like the fact that on Wednesdays they have some really good specials. For $5.99 I believe. overall the food has been good. I don’t like the fact that the manager argued with us about paying for what was supposed to be a large bowl of guacamole and only receiving a couple tablespoons. Yes I do believe in getting what you pay for And we had ordered the same thing previously and knew what the portion size should have been. After the manager coming out and basically telling us it is what it is, he finally ended up fixing it but it still made for a not pleasant experience that day. I still believe overall this place is good and worth trying.

One of my favorite restaurants of all times. I just love the tortilla soup. And I mean the small one without the chicken in it. Not that I don't like the one with chicken in it but it feels me up a little bit too much. They're dip and chips are to die for. They're Margaritas are award-winning! And we just had the margarita week and $1 each. Yummy!
