Nice people slow but good food
The food is really good, homey and fresh. Famous for the Ribs and those chop beefs are bomb. I think more ppl should try it. Don't just ask come taste and see. All are welcome and they are mobile too. If you are 2nd or 3rd shift request a pull up they will come to you!!!
This place is actually called Charlotte's now. It is a soul food restaurant. I think they still have barbecue also, but I'm not sure because I ate Soul Food. The food was good, well seasoned but not overly seasoned, and the serving sizes were plentiful. They're a little pricey, but most soul food places are these days!
came with a crowd for lunch today after a recommendation. this place has shifted to a soul food kitchen. our group of 7 was served promptly. there were NO complaints about any of the food. i has the best baked chicken of my life. 2 of my friends had the best pork chops of their lives. every person who had the cabbage would have gone back for seconds if there was any room in their stomach. For $10 I was given more food than i could possibly eat. by the end of the meal i was trying to decide what tasted the best so i wouldn't waste it. it was ALL the best. in the end, we each left uncomfortably full but with no regrets .
oh and the service. There were 2 people behind the counter, a man and a woman. both were friendly and professional, however the woman seemed especially kind. she was just the type of person who made you feel warm and happy inside. i can't quite describe it, but i can say, you're doing yourself a disservice if you're in the area and don't stop by.
