This is classic old style Tex-Mex food. One of the oldest restaurants in Fort Worth opened in 1926. FDR ate there and you can eat what he at by ordering “the Roosevelt Special”. Great atmosphere, good drinks, decent food… can’t change a classic.

The food was outstanding. It came out rather quickly, even though they were busy on a Saturday night. The spicy, skinny margarita was strong and actually spicy. I would definitely recommend this place. Very casual. The inside could use an update, as there were some damaged spots on the ceiling but I wouldn’t let that stop me from coming back!

Good food. Super busy! Service was Kurt and heard to deal with. It was hard to get what we ordered and it definitely wasn't in a timely manner. Ordered chicken fajitas. Tortillas were half good. But crunchy on one side.

Server seemed like she didn't really want to help us. The food runner was more than helpful and got the items we were missing very quickly

This place is awesome. The Chips and hot sauce are delicious. Their chicken tortilla soup is absolutely delicious. Margarita was perfect. Waitress and all the staff are friendly and attentive. Love this restaurant. One of my favorites.

Been going here for over thirty years now. The prices have gotten a little high in the last few years, but the overall quality has remained consistent. The tamale dinner is great.
Update 3/10/22: Last visit the price for 2 for lunch with an appetizer was $50. That's getting a bit much but the food quality was also a little disappointing. The nachos were over done and the tamale plate had an odd smell. First time I haven't taken leftovers home from here in a long time.
