We tried Red’s restaurant for the 1st time today, we just ordered the cheese burgers with fries and they were super delicious! Perfect all over. Not dry at all, it had flavor :) Will go back to try their bar b que. Great customer service too.
This is a wonderful place to eat. I have had the fish, chopped beef sandwich, sliced brisket, sausage, chicken, turkey, potato salad, crinkle cut fries, and okra. All tasted wonderful. And for those with wives and children who are ranch dressing lovers, their ranch dressing certainly does not disappoint. The prices are not bad at all, as well, especially when you get them on the day they are on special. They are good about posting their specials on their FB page. The only reason I did not do 5 stars is that there is usually 1 thing that I go in wanting they are out of. I know running out of meat is common for a BBQ place, and is a sign of a successful bbq place, but this happens with at least one side item almost each time I go in. Certainly not a big deal. One way this can be combatted from the customer side is calling ahead and ordering, so you can be prepared and not let your craving for that side to get too big. I am certainly rooting for this place to be on Boat Club for years to come. It is always a great option for lunch and dinner.
I had the smoked chicken sandwich and fries today for lunch. I was very pleased with how friendly the staff was. The chicken was seasoned and smoked to perfection. One reason I decided to go was because of other reviews on how good the buns are and I totally agree because it was amazing. This will definitely become a go to for good barbecue!!
The buns they use here are the best. Chopped beef sandwiches at $5 can't beat it. A really good place to eat. They have a variety of options on the menu and even stuff for the kiddos.
We tried this last week for the first time since we moved here in 2021. Food was perfect. The Red’s fries with onions and jalapeños all fried together (no breading, just perfection) and the red’s beans with brisket mixed in were both amazing. We enjoyed it so much, we got some to-go to take to my parents and they loved it too. It’s in a gas station, so I can’t give the full five stars - also had some soft drinks out that day, but the food. Worth eating in or getting takeout! Yum!
