Texan Diner

Busy, but seated quickly. Friends, efficient service with great American food. Lots of choices. And even an entertaining balloon guy! I had a Monte Cristo, best yet! The pies are worth the cost.

Had a great old-fashioned cheeseburger. With onion rings. Everything was excellent. The staff were great as well. Very good service. Highly recommend

First time visit after hearing really good things about this diner. We did not regret our visit! Was greeted and seated and our server quickly arrived to take care of us. Was very difficult to pick what to order as it all looked good! Our server brought us jalapeno cornbread sticks to snack on. AWESOME! Decided on the hamburger steak w/gravy,green beans, smashed potatoes w/gravy, and pecan pie. Oh my goodness! Sooo good! Everything was cooked fresh and delicious! The menu has a good selection of 'comfort food', burgers,desserts and breakfast. Cannot wait to return to enjoy their breakfast, as I'm sure it'll be as delicious as our lunch. And the prices are very reasonable. Shout out to Yoseph our server. Really nice young man! Took great care of us.

If I could give more stars, I would. This is a quaint little hidden gem in a small shopping strip. They're opened until 3pm, which is a shame because I'd love to eat dinner there. They have a few local craft brews on draft. My wife ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. Good sized steak! She said it was one of the best she's ever had. After a bite, I agree. In my 43 years, I've NEVER ordered meatloaf at a restaurant, but the description made it irresistible. Glad I ordered it! So good! This place was worth the 15 mile drive! Can't wait to go back!

Party of 3, Visitor from St. Louis. Service was high quality, staff was very friendly. Better food than any big chain will ever have with a small town diner feel & Blackberry jam to die for. Ran into one of the owners in the parking lot, who made sure to ask how our opinion, and took the time to listen to what we had to say. Best breakfast I've had in years. Jar that jam, I'll buy 10.

Update: The owner decided to jar the jam. A friend of mine stopped by there and bought a few to send to me. It's as delicious as it was 8 months ago, and well worth checking out! I'll be paying them a visit next time I'm in Texas.
