Tres Casas Mexican Grill

I really want to like Tres Casas. The staff are very attentive and service was good. The food that I have eaten has all been well prepared and quite tasty. Typically those with me all agree it is excellent.

That being said, the portion sizes for the meals were not very big. I ordered enchiladas and they were about the size of a taquito. The kids enchilada was the same size. This might even be excusable if the prices were lower than a standard enchilada plate, but they're not. They also charge for every bowl of their homemade chips.

Lastly, if you have a family of 5, your only option is to eat on the patio. If you get stuck inside, you'll be jammed in a tiny booth and quite uncomfortably.

I've been here at least three times in past year and we had to eat inside every time. Fortunately the parking lot is also very small, so most people have to bail and you won't have to wait.

I did really enjoy the food though and the service was good, so it makes the negative items sufferable, just be prepared! If you've got a family/group of 4 or less, it would be just fine or maybe you can get lucky and eating outside will be an option.

I think I have found my hidden Mexican restaurants. The food was delicious, and everyone was extremely nice. My wife and I were waited on from the moment we walk through the door, even had the manager great us after dinner was completed. The inside of the restaurant is small, but they have a huge patio for accommodation. I would recommend to family and friends...

As usual, the food is fantastic. Every single item tastes fresh and homemade. We love the atmosphere of the place and the fact that it feels like you are eating at a family member's house.

Very good food. This restaurant is what I call a South Tex Mex. Street tacos and street burritos style. Not a bad price. Will go back.

We have meals here all the time and have not had a bad meal. Today, we both ordered street tacos and asked for the tortillas to be on the side and it was a pick up order. Not only was it right, but all the other sides were nicely put together.
Now, the food. Like I said, we've not had a bad meal here. My fave are the street tacos. Nicely seasoned beef and authentic Mexican; not Tex Mex! Love this local place!
