I really wanted to like this place more. The menu looked great, lots of good British options. Aesthetically it had a decent pub vibe though when you get there it was a little dingy.

If you do go the bubble and squeak bites are good. Cocktail prices are great.

I definitely expected more British beers on tap, but they did at least have one Fullers. My main issue though was that everything we had was over fried and seemed like it was out of the frozen section of the grocery store. So much grease. I think some sourcing and guideline for chef changes could make this place great, but as it stands I can't in good conscience recommend it.

My friend and I enjoyed our lunch today at From Across the Pond. I had the Bangers and Mash, which came with a delicious warm gravy. The warm mashed potatoes and sausage were perfect here on a cold rainy day in Fort Worth. I topped it off with a tasty Guineas Stout. The service was good and the atmosphere was decent. Prices were very reasonable. Great experience!

This place is AMAZING! Incredibly authentic and always delicious. This is my place to bring anyone visiting from out of town. Great staff and fun atmosphere! Definitely a family favorite. I highly recommend anyone to go and try!

If you are looking for great English style Fish 'n Chips, this is where you find them. They come to the table hot, fresh, and perfectly fried. The fish is firm and the coating is crisp. We usually pass on the chips and substitute in onion rings, just because the onion rings are amazing! Lots of flavor and crunchy without being too hard.
The best part for me is that all of this deliciousness is gluten free! But don't think that we measure the Fish 'n Chips only against other gluten free Fish 'n Chips, because there simply aren't any other places we've found that serve them. We are comparing them against every other Fish 'n Chips we've ever had. My husband and I both grew up on the West coast where you can find beer battered Fish 'n Chips on every other block in the coastal cities, and these stand up against any other Fish 'n Chips we've had. This place can't be beat, and the next time you find yourself craving the taste of the ocean, come here. You'll find that flavor here.
